Fitted with safety devices 6 point roll cage with shaped door bars and Gartrac weld on strut brace, gusseted. Spec includes: 1660 x/flow knife edged, fully lightened and balanced crank, polished rods, arp rod bolts, high pressure oil pump, duplex timing gear, big valve head, double valve springs, steel posts, only fast road cam, twin 40 dellortos (twin choke available for road rallys), lucas competition electronic ignition, piper cross filter, only done about 200 miles since build 127bhp@ 6200 and 118llbs/ft of torque@4800rpm goes very well! RS alloy bellhousing, 4 speed tran-x, single piece prop, semi-floating baby atlas axle fitted with a genuine Ford 5.1cwp, Motorsport lsd, Fiesta calipers and discs, tramp bars fitted with brand new grp1 Bilsteins. Also fitted with group 1 fixed platform Bilsteins, 260/60 inserts and roller bearing top mounts. Proper group 4 wcxm, bias pedal box, group 4 8mm chassis mounted sump guard, brand new vented M16 calipers, discs and Mintex f4r pads, ralloy shaped alloy petrol tank, group 4 studs, facet red top pump. Overall the car has all the correct parts and could easily be converted into an historic rally car very easily, also we can convert it to right hand drive at extra cost. Tarmac spec Golf GTI MK1 rally car. 2 rallies from build. 1600cc 8 valve engine just rebuilt with new crank, bearings, rings, gaskets, belt, tensioner, alternator, high pressure pump, oil cooler, Samco hoses and rev limiter. SP Performance big valve head with bronze guides, kcgs3 cam, alloy vernier, twin dcoe 40 webbers on twin cable linkage, 4 branch manifold and competition exhaust system, electric fuel pump. New 1800cc clutch and flywheel with uprated gear linkage. Large uprated drilled and vented disc on front with new calipers and competition pads. Discs on rear beam with again new calipers, fully aeroquipped, GpA hydraulic handbrake, adjustable brake bias valve. All in a very tidy shell in red with red interior and alloy panels. Momo steering wheel. Adjustable Weiztec coilovers all round with competition bushes. Front and rear OMP strut braces. Long OMP alloy sumpguard and tank guard. Safety Devices roll cage, Cobra seats.
