Brakes: Front alcon 4 pot calipers with new discs and pads, rear 2 pot calipers, all braided hoses, upright hydraulic handbrake, tilton valve. Suspension: Proflex 3 way front suspension, proflex 2 way rear suspension, new front wishbones, new rear suspension components. View picture Just completed a 2 year full nut and bolt mechanical and bodywork rebuild. SHELL: Original and registered Mexico Shell unarched fully strenghthend to GRP1/GRP4 Standards using Ralloy panels. 2-linked with Panhard Rod, turreted, gusseted, seam welded, full chassis skids, large transmission tunnel, GRP4 strut tops, radiator cut out, welded in 6 point SD cage, new wings, rails, front panel, door skins slam panel and A posts. GRP bonnet, GRP battery box in boot, central fuel tank, strut brace. ENGINE: 2.1 Ltr Pinto built by John Hardman. 205 block, stage 3 head, Emerald P3 cam, injection rods, lightened and balanced, HP/HC oil pump alloy sump, 3 piece 2 1/4" Janspeed exhaust manifold, twin 45 webbers c/w K&N filters (all just fully rebuilt). Single plate paddle clutch with new HD release bearing, new cable, Bosch Dist. With electronic ignition. MK1 RS radiator with new pacet electric automatic fan. Just set up at Bogg Bros. gave 180 bhp at wheels on one run. SUSPENSION: Front GRP4 adjustable Bilsteins with 300 inserts, RBTM’s. Rear turreted Bilsteins
Gartrac WCXM, rose jointed TCA’s compression struts, Gartrac quick rack. Rear single leaf springs with Proflex bushes 1 1/2" lowering blocks (all just refurbished ). BRAKES: Gartrac adjustable pedal box, 4 pot with vented discs on both front and back, hydraulic and mechanical hand brake. all external lines aeroquip and run inside car. GEARBOX/AXLE: 4 speed Quaife SC Rocket box (just rebuilt) with quick release b/housing. Single piece prop, English axle fully braced, 5 linked with 4.9 Tranex plate LSD (new), RS2000 half shafts. INTERIOR: Sparco EVO II seats, OMP 3" 4 point belts, plumbed in fire ext. fully rewired with new wiring loom with trip fuses, gauges, centre console, Pacet fan. Air horns, alloy foot plates, rev limiter, alloy door cards(all new). OTHER: RS Alloy wheels, full 7 piece new Polycarb windows, sump guard, helmet net, new GRP bumpers, new lights, etc. MOT until December 2008, currently on SORN. RAC Log Booked. Ford Escort G3 (Genesis conversion) r.w.d rally car. Cosworth turbo engine (very sweet Mountune). Group A radiator, RS 500 intercooler, variable boost adjustor inside the car, Alloy catch tank, K+N filter, Dump valve, recent new cambelt change, oils, plugs, leads, dizzy cap and rotor arm. Bolted to a T5 gearbox. Atlas axle 5 linked with 5:1 crown wheel and pinion with a plated Motorsport l.s.d.
Vented disc braked. The shell is fully seam welded with full length chassis rails, big gearbox and atlas tunnels, round turrets, no rot, wide fibreglass arches, panhard rod, strong alloy sump guard. safety devives rollcage, light weight bonnet, alooy fuel cell which is inside firewall, 2 1/4 Leda coilovers. New quick rack, adjustable t.c.a.s, adjustable compression struts, vented discs all round with 310mm at the front with Willwood 4 pots. Bias brakes with dash adjuster, aeroquip fuel lines. Sparco seats with new 3" 5 point harnesses, map light, oil pressure guage, rpm guage, temp guage, amp guage, boost guage, alloy nav footrest, strut brace, hydraulic handbrake, in date handheld and plumbed in fire extinguishers. Helmet net, intercom, wired properly with fuses and relays, cut off key with pullcable, 3" straight through exhaust with box with a stainless back box, 4 x Hella 2000 spolights on one fitting for quick change. This car comes ready to race with RAC MSA logbook, and 4 months mot. Included in the sale will be atlas axle casing with braket, 2x cosworth alternators, 2x cosworth starter motors, front coilover struts(leda), 2 steering racks, 2 cosworth fuel pumps, 2x half shafts, different sets of forest tyres on Compomotive wheels and 6x Wella wheels with part worn Dunlop tarmac tyres worth £500 new. A MK1 shell that is in very good condition, but will require quite a bit of work. At some point the roof has been removed but a roof is included in the sale.
