Engine Spec:Very special all steel 1600cc John Hardman dry sumped engine producing around 200 bhp. 2.0 16v xe red top engine destroked to 1600cc- using farndon steel crank and rods, omega forged pistons, worked head, solid lifters, cosworth cams, iskey springs, titanium caps, alloy piper cam adjustable verniers, Qed throttle bodies, gems distributorless management, and samco hoses. Gearbox:Quaife F18 5 speed dog box, quaife turret, brass selector, brand new 1st and 2nd dog ring, harry hockley grp A gear linkage. Axle:5.2 cwp brand new quaife ATB Diff. Brakes:280mm Ap alloy 4 pots brakes with X-drilled & grooved discs with alloy bells. Disc braked rear beam, aeroquiped brake lines, bias valve, alloy vertical Wrc style handbrake.
Suspension:Works type bilstein/Gartrac tarmac coilovers c/w alloy spherical top mounts. Grp A rear tarmac bilsteins, poly bushed troughout, omp adjustable front strut brace. Other info: Spare set of compomotive mo alloys, Interior lightweight Grp seats, Fia 3" belts dated to 2010, plumbed in & hand held extinguishers. Historic Vauxhall Firenza

We are selling most of the parts required to build a post historic spec Vauxhall Firenza rally car. We have collected these parts over 18 months for a build that has since fallen through and we have decided to sell rather than complete the build, though we can still do the job if that is what someone wants. The lot includes a white Firenza with 2.3 Sport SL logbook rolling shell, very straight and requiring very little welding. Brand new safety devices 6 point roll cage still in wrapping. 2.3 engine stripped for rebuild. Very rare 4 speed close ratio gearbox and brand new Avo suspension for all 4 corners. In terms of trim, closures glass etc the car is basically complete but it doesn't have a laminated screen. This is a reluctant sale but if there are enough enquiries we may split into bits. Nova 1.6 8v engine built by Bowyer some years ago then looked after by local engine builder over recent years. Brief spec big value head, solid lifters, enem cam with vernier, twin 45’s - approx 135 BHP at the flywheel. Gearbox is an F13 5 speed Quaife straight cut, plated 40% LSD - just been rebuilt, GSI drive shafts. Bilstein 2 1/4 front legs with new Hockley supplied forest inserts, 180lbs springs, uniball lower joints & spherical top mounts, poly race bushed, strengthened lower arms & tie bars, Bilstein rear shocks & updated springs. Group A studding, GTE front brakes with Ferodo DS2000 pads, drums on rear with cable & hydraulic hand brake. Bias pedal box, quick rack. RAC log booked.
Strong rot free shell, seam welded, multi point bolt in cage, fibre glass bonnet & tailgate, Perspex all round, lami screen, Magnum seats, 4 point quick release belts, recently serviced fire extinguisher. This car is a nice lightweight shell with a good strong torque engine - has just finished 3rd in class B10 on Somerset stages 2008 with an amateur front wheel drive pilot behind the wheel (me). Engine spec is standard bottom end, lightly modified head with slightly bigger valves, Kent Cams NVO63 camshaft for hydraulic lifters, matching Kent valve springs and followers, Vernier pulley twin 40's. Suspension, Bilstein standard platform nova cup, not sure what poundage the springs are - same at the back, New H/H quick rack and uniballs. Nova group A rally car

Vauxhall Nova built from 91 shell that covered 42,000 miles as road car. Has been fully seam welded with h/h plating kit, h/h seat rail kit, safety devices full weld in triangulated cage, all painted underneath and under the bonnet in two pack white. Inside the car in graphite grey and outside in Suburu WRC blue. Has fibreglass tailgate & bonnet, h/h guards. Group A disc rear beam, 16v front with Pagid pads, bias pedal box. Sparco s/wheel, WRC uproght alloy h/brake, oil elc power steering, bronze tint polycarb full set, comp engine and gearbox mount.
