VW MK2 GOLF 1.8 GTI A recently built 1987 MK2 Golf in white. Bolt in rollcage by safety devices, fully internal fuel and brake pipes with braided flexi's outside of the car. Brand new fully plumbed in lifeline fire extinguisher along with new (now 1 year old) bucket seats and new Sparco harnesses. Fuel pump mounted inside of car for extra protection. Over sized Lucas calipers on the front for extra stopping power plus new standard discs on the rear. Comes with both hydraulic and standard handbrakes. OMP air filter - brand new for the 1.8 k-jet engine. 2 horns fitted one for co driver as well as the drivers horn. No under side protection as previous protection was damaged. It has Spax suspension all around with fully adjustable on the rear and ride height only on the front. It is up to date for all MSA regs with fuel sampler and protection film on the door windows. Comes with spare panels such as bonnet, tailgate and wings. Overall a nice car and will be good as a track or rally car.

Built from a rot free 1993 shell on a K plate. New multipoint cage and seat rails welded into the shell, which has been freshly painted white inside and bright yellow outside. Brand new perspex for side and door windows with sliders. Fitted with a 1600cc twincam engine and 5 speed box with quick shift, disc brakes all round, power steering sitting on 14" alloy wheels with long wheel stud conversion. New mintex and maxtorque comp pads and front vented discs, new Koni adjustable suspension, Ashley competition exhaust system and polly bushes. Plumbed in and hand held extinguishers, belts dated till 2011.Has MSA log book and 12 months MOT. Small spares package including some panels and lights.

This car was built 2 years ago with all new parts and has only covered 7 smooth tarmac events finishing 2nd in class on both the last 2! Shell: Genuine 106 rallye non sunroof shell which has been strengthened complete with a full multi-point roll cage, the proper one with cross braces, door and harness bars.
