SAM Engineering was founded in 2003 by David Jackson, having worked for professional teams including Ford World Rally Team. We have built many cars, from Escort Mark IIs to Subaru Imprezas and Escort Cosworths.

We have our own Subaru Impreza available for hire. In effect making rallying a stress-free pay as you go sport.

One of our specialities at SAM Engineering is the preparation on Ford MkII Escorts. Whether you are looking for a complete car build, a shell preparing or maintenance on your current car, we can help.

We also have experience of many vehicles currently being used for rallying in the UK. So whatever make of vehicle you compete in - from GPN to WRC spec - we will provide you with a reliable and competitive car for a reasonable cost.
